Whenever I sit down to create a new story, one thing I always spend a lot of time on is the conflict. Without conflict, there can be no story. It is an essential driving force in the progression of your narrative.
Creating compelling conflict can be difficult. There have been countless times where I have felt like pulling my hair out because I just could not think of anything. Gladly I still have a full head of hair because I have derived four main points to fall back on whenever I hit a roadblock.
